Local PR Program 

ReSound is pleased to be able to offer a brand new service to you, our valued customer. We understand your consumer marketing needs and would like to offer you the opportunity to partner with ReSound to implement a regional PR campaign.

Obtaining editorial coverage in your local newspaper is a great way to build awareness of your practice, while also communicating the importance of treating hearing loss.

Please note – this is not a paid advertising program and therefore, there is zero cost to you. There is also no guarantee that this program will result in media coverage. Your local newspaper(s) reserves the right to publish only the stories they consider to be most valuable to their readership. Below is a summary of the program and process.

Objective 

  • Obtain positive media coverage in your local market about how your practice partners with ReSound to improve quality of life

Strategy 

  • Leverage a patient case study to illustrate the social and emotional impact of hearing loss and how a combination of best-in-class technology and quality patient care has changed lives

Process 

  • Identify a patient that believes that Alera™ has positively impacted the quality of their life
  • Ask the patient for permission to use their story for media pitching and ask if they would be willing to speak to a journalist about their hearing loss and treatment
  • Ask the patient to fill out the patient questionnaire 
  • Fill out the medical professionals’ questionnaire to provide your experiences fitting Alera™
  • Return the completed questionnaires to ReSound
