Marketing experts remind us that a business needs to market when business is good as well as when it is slow. To be effective, marketing must be consistent and recurring.  While “instant impact” marketing can be very effective, building a brand for your business should be the foundation of any marketing campaign. Branding is the subliminal process by which a business employs marketing strategies to get people to easily remember their products and services over those of the competition. Branding is about getting prospects to see you as the only person who provides a solution to their problem. A good brand will deliver a clear message, confirm your credibility, motivate the buyer and create loyalty.  A strong brand is invaluable as the battle for customers intensifies day by day; it is a promise to prospective patients that you are the person to help them handle their hearing problem.

The first step in the marketing process is to develop a written plan to guide all marketing efforts throughout the year.  The plan should be specific with the types of activities that will be included, how often they will be executed and the expected outcomes.  There is a saying I like, “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”
