Tammara Stender, Au.D., CCC-A 

Dr. Stender is a Senior Audiologist at the Chicago site.  In this role, she plans and conducts clinical trials for newly developed hearing aid technology and prepares documentation for released products. Her research interests include hearing aid benefit and satisfaction, the occlusion effect and spatial localization abilities with hearing aids.

Background 

Prior to joining ReSound in 2003, Dr. Stender was an Audiologist for the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, Florida, where she provided a wide range of pediatric diagnostic and amplification services. She received her Master of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology.  In addition to her research work, Dr. Stender is a clinical preceptor for Au.D. students from Rush and Northwestern Universities in Chicago and Northeastern University in Boston.
