Alison L. Kaye, Au.D. CCC-A  

Alison Kaye, Au.D. CCC-A, is a Senior Audiologist at the Chicago site. Dr. Kaye divides her time between clinical trials and providing support to the fitting software team as a user-experience expert for both products and software.

Background 

Prior to joining ReSound, Dr. Kaye began her career in a hospital setting as a clinical practitioner, and subsequently as Director of Audiology.   In 2001, Dr. Kaye, opened a private practice, and served as a newborn hearing screening consultant for Etymotic Research. She lectured on the topic in Europe, South America and Japan. In 2003, after moving to South Florida, Alison joined the faculty of Nova Southeastern University as an Assistant Professor. In 2004, Dr. Kaye returned to Chicago, to head the Audiology Department at Evanston Northwestern Hospital.

During all of her clinical work, she served as a clinical lecturer for Northwestern University, University of Illinois and Governor’s State University.  She served as the Vice President of Ways and Means for the Illinois Academy of Audiology in 2000-2001.  Dr. Kaye received her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Louisville in 1994, and her doctoral degree in 2000 from Nova Southeastern University.
